E-SAWM: A Semantic Analysis-Based ODF Watermarking Algorithm for Edge Cloud Scenarios

With the growing demand for data sharing file formats in financial applications driven by open banking, use of OFD (open fixed-layout document) format has become widespread. However, ensuring security, traceability, and accountability poses significant challenges. To address these concerns, we propose E-SAWM, a dynamic watermarking service framework designed edge cloud scenarios. This incorporates watermark information at edge, allowing precise tracking leakage throughout data-sharing process. By utilizing semantic analysis, E-SAWM generates highly realistic pseudostatements that exploit structural characteristics documents within files. These are strategically distributed to embed redundant bits into documents, remains resistant removal or complete destruction. Experimental results demonstrate our algorithm minimal impact on original size, with watermarked text occupying less than 15%, indicating high capacity carrying watermark. Additionally, compared existing explicit schemes files based annotation structure, proposed scheme is suitable technical requirements complex scenario deployment. It effectively overcomes vulnerabilities associated easy deletion tampering, providing concealment robustness.
